(My understanding of life has changed a lot over the years and I believe that it will change even further in the years to come, since a teachable spirit is, in my opinion, a crucial part of life. To realise that your point of view is actually “Your view from a point” and others have other views from their point and their views are not wrong per sé, we can learn from each other and/or still have respect for each other.)
Quantum physics has helped me to understand my place (role) in this world. People often ask themselves the question about purpose. I remember how popular Rick Warren’s book “Purpose Driven Life” was. We want to make sense of our time here on earth.
My belief is that: “We are Spiritual Beings – having a Human (Quantum Physical) experience” while we are here on earth. If our focus is the other way round – then the physical dominates everything in our lives (Our physical state determines everything… whilst a spiritual experience is something one craves for to help out in difficult times…)
Science has proven that everything in this universe consists of energy (molecules, atoms, protons, neutrons, electrons, quarke = energy). Even the air that we breath is energy, as are our physical bodies.
When you think on a micro cosmic level, energy is in constant motion. So is the energy in our cells in motion with the rest of the universe. On that level we are the same as the Quantum Physical world… BUT…
WE ARE DIFFERENT
We are Spiritual Beings – having a Human experience
There is a “witness” in us that is in charge of the energy.
The one that makes decisions, has emotions, can function in relationships, communicate, has personality and so much more.
When this “witness”, the “I”, says “I am…” my only conclusion is that it originates from the “I AM” – the Creator of energy. The One that organises energy to be creation.
I read that we are Representatives of the “I AM”. We are called to “Fill the earth and Reign over it”.
I am aware of the notion that many people (motivational speakers, writers, teachers in the Self Help Development field,etc.) shy away from using the word “GOD”. I understand it because there are so many understandings around the concept. When you use it, you have a spesific view from your point, and you can only communicate what you experience. Even to say you have a Biblical view is problematic, because there are also a vast number of opinions on that front too.
Even though this is all true, I believe that communication is part of our existence, although we understand it differently. In the process of communication we must try to give clarity about our interpretation of a concept… I will therefor try to put into words what I understand.
I am a Bible-believer, not a fundamentalist. I believe that the Great “I AM” created man to represent the spiritual realm here. When I refer to the “I AM” from this point in my discussion as male(gender) it does not mean that I think God has a spesific gender at all. I use it only because the Bible (translations) refer to God in male terms.
We were created in His Image with the purpose of representing Him in this dimension. We were given the privilege to fill the earth with His presence and we are called to Reign over the Quantum World.
Man has deviated from the main purpose and exchanged authority for a mediocre existence: operating as if he is powerless, because “as a man thinketh, so is he…” Even though there were glimpses of another way of existence through the lives of the prophets, judges and kings (who had the anointing of the Holy Spirit) nothing was visible among the ordinary people.
God gave the authority to man to reign on earth. He could not go back on His word. He had to bring a solution. He had to come back as “man” to restore the original identity of man as it was given in the beginning. Jesus was born as the Son of God. He was 100% man, not a kind of Superman. The big difference was: He knew His Identity was “Image of God”, “One with God”(John 14:9), Representative of God in this dimention to fill the earth with God’s Love, kindness, forgiveness, joy, power as well as Authority to reign over everything.
That was His focus all the way to the end. We see in Him that clear understanding of His Identity. He never deviated from it. He paid the penalty for the sin of man (sin = abdicating the authority that we had) by dying on the cross and OVERCOMING death in His RESURECTION.
Jesus said: “…those who believe in me will do what I do – yes they will do even greater things…” (John14:12). I believe He not only spoke about physical signs, but even things that he could not do. He could not teach people what their new restored Identity would be like.
He first had to die and overcome death to give it back to us.
He gave us the Holy Spirit as our Comforter as well as Guide to lead us in all truth. That truth, I believe, is that “we are seamlessly one with God”. Now we are again in a position to take up our God-given authority and help every other person to realise that we now live Christ’s life (Gal 2:20).
To know my purpose is to understand that I am in this world to make God’s LOVE visible and give substance to it. It doesn’t matter where I live, how much money/things I own or what my profession is. To BE seamlessly one with God and live FROM the perspective of our God-dimension in the Quantum Physical dimension is a privilege.
This will bring Hope to the world. My understanding of the vision Ezekiel had (Ezekiel 47) helped me a lot in this regard.
Ezekiel saw the water flowing from the temple; initially a small stream that grew deeper and deeper. Where this water goes, it will bring LIFE, FOOD & HEALING.
“He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh. Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live. Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds—like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.
Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.””
Ezekiel 47:8-10, 12 NIV
In the New Testament we learn that “God lives in us”, we are “in Him”, like a tree and it’s branches we are one, etc… We are the “Temple of God”
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?”
1 Corinthians 3:16 NIV
And the Rivers of Living Water will flow from us… because it is the Holy Spirit/God that is our Source.
“Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.”
John 7:38-39 NIV
I Believe Jesus came to restore us as a human race to BE what we were created for. When we realise who we are and the amazing privilege we have to bring Hope to this world, we will fulfill our purpose.
THAT IS TRULY LIVING.
